autoants questions · New Orleans

Who can set up a missed-call text-back for an HVAC business in New Orleans?

autoants, a New Orleans company, sets up missed-call text-back for HVAC and other trades: when you can't pick up, the caller gets a text from your business within seconds, naming your business, before they call the next shop.

It runs on its own as Try one ($500 once) or inside Never miss a job ($750 a month + $750 setup), with quote follow-up, booking and the review ask. You can also set one up yourself in most phone and scheduling software; the difference is who writes it, tests it and watches it.

Why HVAC shops ask for it first

The no-cool call in July goes to whoever answers. A tech on a roof can't, so the text holds the caller while you finish. It doesn't replace answering the phone; if you want calls answered too, that's the AI receptionist, an AI that says it's an AI, priced with you once you're on Get found and never miss a job.

What a text-back needs

Business texts in the US go through carrier registration (10DLC), and marketing texts need written consent. A text-back answers someone who just called you, which is different from a blast. At autoants the number and texts run on your own Twilio account.

What to ask any provider

  1. How fast does the text go out, and what does it say?
  2. Does it come from my own business number, and who owns the number and the accounts if I leave?
  3. What exactly does it say to a customer, and do I approve the wording first?
  4. What's the setup fee, the monthly fee and the minimum commitment, in writing?
