How to hire: the Louisiana rules

Which license does a remodeling contractor need in Louisiana?

It depends on the project value. Under $7,500 on a home, no LSLBC license. From $7,500 to under $50,000 with no structural work, a home improvement license. Structural work of $7,500 or more, or any home job of $50,000 or more, needs a Residential Construction license.
